Datorama Limitless 2017: Marketers Converge on Insights, Challenges

Last Thursday, around a hundred marketing professionals, analysts, publishers, and all-around data lovers converged at the modern event space Lightbox in New York City for Datorama’s inaugural customer event, Limitless.

Datorama employees, customers and partners led sessions on topics ranging from programmatic advertising to change management. There was never a dull moment in the day, or a person left adrift from the ongoing conversations on the state of marketing technology and data.

People gathered to discuss the unlimited opportunities around the bend for marketing. To herald this changing environment, industry thought leader Scott Brinker kicked off the day by elucidating the state of marketing technology itself. Showing his Marketing Technology Landscape series, he timelined the explosion of platforms from just 150 in 2011, to over 5,000 today.

The day begins with modern marketing challenges.

Throughout the day attendees rotated between keynote presentations, fireside chats, Datorama feature demos, and constant networking. Attendees shared their best practices, challenges, and hopes for the future of marketing. Leaders from Fortune 500 brands, top agencies, and ad tech platforms converged and collaborated to craft strategies for moving forward.

The event would not have been nearly as successful without the quality of attendees. Backgrounds ranged from CEOs who run companies to engineers who build platforms, and everyone added their voice to the topicality– and drove our industry that much further into the future.
