Any burgeoning business wants to scale effectively and efficiently. With Datorama’s Dashboard Templates, you can generate reports at the speed of your growth. Design your dashboard up front, and then leverage this initial setup to quickly create program or client-specific reporting as your business grows.
First, design your prototype dashboard.
Once you’ve customized your dashboard to meet your reporting requirements, simply click ‘Create Template’ and then – Magic! Your template will now appear as an option when you next go to create a new dashboard.
Savvy users will also take advantage of the below features in conjunction with the templated approach, so you can maximize Datorama’s reporting capabilities:
Your beautiful dashboard template will undoubtedly contain a varied collection of visualizations. Updating the criteria presented in those individual widgets would be time consuming and tedious. Fortunately, with Datorama’s Page Level Filtering, you can swiftly define what data is being brought in across all of your visualizations– making client segmented reporting one click away!
Custom Date Ranges is another great feature that enables you to report at scale. Using the Custom Date Range functionality, it’s easy to create reporting that frees you from the grind of cyclical deliverables. Looking to report on a monthly basis? Set your date range to ‘Previous Month.’ Perhaps you want to report on the entire lifecycle of a program or client. Easily accomplished– just choose the static Start Date associated with that dimension and let Datorama automatically bring in your most up to date information using the dynamic ‘Ongoing’ option as your End Date.
Highlighted in our previous Tips and Tricks post, Rich Text Widgets allow you to create program or client-specific insights and really impress your end users with sleek, stylish embedded media.
